Helen Smythe has been a friend of Valérie Barrow’s for more than 40 years. Helen collaborated with Valerie in delivering the messages of the Cosmic Sai Baba in German translation. Helen – a medium – also brought forward several significant messages for Valérie, which have been reported elsewhere on this website. On the day of Valerie’s memorial and celebration, Helen attended with one short talk to offer, but as proceedings ended rather quickly, she was unable to speak. She officiated the marriage of our daughter and I have very fond memories of that special day.
Over the years we were never further than a phone call away – both sharing our ups and downs along the way. Most importantly – Valli and I shared a remarkable journey which can only be described as a gift from above.
I could never put into words the experiences we gathered over the years which left us with a profound inner knowledge and wonderment about this world and the spirit world.
Valli, to me, was an angel. She was full of courage, determination and never ending love. She was so eager to finish her last book and it seems her wish was granted which should be of great comfort to all of us!
I would like to share with you the last time Valli visited my place for lunch. She brought her banana leaf (Nadi astrology) reading along. She wanted to go through the various stages which were outlined in regards to her life.
So we listened to the tape – which was difficult to understand because of the accent (a Telugu speaker) and found that everything had come to pass in Valli’s life up to her 90th birthday. (In Nadi astrology, you are 1-year-old when you are born. Hence the different counting of the years passed.)
Valli was a bit apprehensive about that, questioning whether this was the end of her life! I reassured her that I more or less saw it as the retirement she at long last deserved! Her only concern was to finish her book!
We know that Valérie’s earthly life has come to an end – but her love and spirit will live forever in the hearts and minds of all those who knew her.
