There is so much to share in these important days of emerging from cycles of shadows over our Earth that we felt it was good to bring a newsletter out early. In this supplement to our monthly newsletter, we bring you the Aurora Borealis, the fracas over the “return of the ring of Jehanne d’Arc”, and some reflections by Australians working in the Red Deer Cave in China. This work has interesting links and parallels to the Denisova Cave, which we have explored in the Mystery School and other newsletters.
National Geographic have captured an awe-inspiring video of a blue whale calf feeding (why is it that whales always elicit awe when we encounter them?). We share a video from a fellow who is definitely radiating light in his face as he talks about signs of our past lives. We read about the Seven Sleepers and how time travel might have occurred in the past. DNA studies show that some odd wiping out of civilisations occurred after the last Ice Age. We read about an interesting discovery in Turkey, thought to be Noah’s Ark, and how we might access the magnificent field of Universal Intelligence.
Aurora Borealis
Parts of the UK have been treated to a rare showing of the Aurora Borealis. This photograph shows the Aurora Borealis as seen at Hadrian’s Wall in northern England. The dancing lights, also known as the Northern Lights, were captured gracing night skies across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. These light displays are usually only visible in the northern-most parts of Scotland. The Aurora Borealis occurs when electrically charged particles from the Sun enter the Earth’s atmosphere. It is the northern counterpart to the Aurora Australis, seen in Australia.
Britain demands France ‘return Joan of Arc’s ring’
The Hundred Years War might not be quite over just yet with an apparent Franco-British row brewing over Joan of Arc’s gold-plated ring.
Just as the historic gold-plated ring was safely back in French hands it’s emerged that British authorities want it back.
The saga of Joan of Arc’s ring took a new twist on late in March just as it was officially unveiled on its return to France.
The ring thought to belong to France’s most famous historical martyr, Joan of Arc, was unveiled on Sunday at the Puy de Fou historical theme park in the western Vendee region.
Some 5,000 spectators turned out to see the unveiling of the ring, that the park had bought at a London auction for €376, 833 ($425,000).
The French heroine is thought to have handed the ring to England’s Cardinal Henry Beaufort on the eve of her execution in 1431.
It remained in England ever since, and there is documentation to establish its provenance.
It was flown back to France when Puy du Fou president Nicolas de Villiers told French TV it was a “glorious return” for a “French treasure”.
The ring was supposedly gifted to the patron saint by her parents before her death in 1431 ending up eventually in the possession of Essex man Robert Hasson after it was passed down to him by his father, who bought it at auction in 1947 for £175.
Mr Hasson never suspected the true value of the trinket until he took it to Timeline Auctions, which is based in Dovercourt, which delved into its history.
They discovered that the ring matched a description, revealed in transcripts, given by Joan of Arc herself during the trial which resulted in her death.
She said it had the inscription ‘Jhesus Maria’ as well as three crosses, and was made from either gold or brass. And said it her hand when she touched St Catherine, who appeared before her in a vision.

Bones from Chinese cave prompt rethink of human evolution
A team of Australian and Chinese researchers say they’re now even more confident that ancient humans lived alongside modern humans as recently as 14,000 years ago.
New analysis of bones found in a cave in China resembles those of human species from around a million years ago. Those ancient humans were thought to have died out when modern humans evolved but the latest dating and analysis of a thigh bone from the Chinese cave suggests otherwise.

JOANNA LESTER: Three years ago, a team of scientists from China and Australia published research that called into question whether ancient humans died out as long ago as we thought.
The researchers from the University of New South Wales, Griffith University in Queensland and two academic institutes in China studied skulls and teeth found in a cave in south west China known as Maludong, or Red Deer Cave.
The skulls were between 11,000 and 14,000 years old according to radio carbon dating but resembled those of ancient human species from more than 100,000 years ago.
Last month, the researchers published new analysis of a thigh bone found in the same location, also dated at around 14,000 years ago which they say even more clearly resembles ancient species like homo erectus that lived 1.5 million years ago.
Denisova Cave Parallel
But this week at a global archaeological conference in Shanghai, a team of scientists examining human remains at Denisova Cave in Russia revealed findings with surprising parallels to those at Maludong in China.

DARREN CURNOE: Denisova Cave is 30,000 or 40,000 years older than Maludong but still they’re finding within single layers in the cave three distinct species that were using the cave at about the same time and probably interacting with each other and that’s really the same kind of situation we think we’re finding in south west China.

Rare blue whale footage captured in New Zealand
Rare footage has been captured of a blue whale nursing its calf in New Zealand waters.
National Geographic has released the video, recorded by a group of researchers working in the South Taranaki Bight early last month.
The mammals were sighted by staff researching pygmy blue whales in the region.
When they spotted what appeared to be a mother and her calf, they kept their distance and sent up a drone to record some footage and take photos.
National Geographic explorer and marine ecologist Leigh Torres said they could see the smaller mammal going under its mother for some time before returning to the surface — and repeating the process.
“We had no idea they were [probably nursing] when we saw them from the vessel. But from the overhead perspective, we could clearly see this co-ordinated behaviour between mother and calf,” she said.
“It was beautiful to see.”
The footage is thought to be the first time the rare event has been captured on video.

Ralph Smart is a self-made fellow with a great appetite for prana, healthy living and vegan lifestyle.

It is probably worth watching a few of his videos to get a feel of his presentations and his message, which is very much about ‘how much more’ life is than the blinders, blinkers and bindings we place on ourselves. You will recognise his signatures, “infinite waters” and “can I get an Hello!”.
He is self-effacing in a way that enables other to learn from the journey he has taken; some of his videos are about the faults and failings and self-serving habits he has surpassed.
Ralph Smart gleams in his videos; whatever he has done, he is radiating light in the videos.
In this video Ralph Smart talks about five signs of your past life. He speaks of the work of a psychologist (Judith Wamburgh) who regresses people and asks them questions about their clothes, their gender, their time, their work, like this. He also cites other civilisations and great teachers of humanity such as Jung and Einstein, that we multidimensional beings having a human experience.

The Seven Sleepers and Time Travel
Were the seven cave sleepers the first time travelers? One of the first possible accounts of time travel still has no real explanation, and remains an unexplained mystery.
As the story goes, during the persecutions under Decius (c.250), when Christians were in a dispute with the Roman state, seven young men went into a cave one night, where they after a while fell a sleep.
The following day when they woke up they wandered into the city of Ephesus to buy food and drink. Upon arrival at Ephesus, they were astound to learn time had passed quickly! that they had slept not for one night but for two hundred years. During this time Christianity had spread to every corner of the Roman Empire.
When Emperor Theodosius II heard about the incident, he accepted it as evidence of resurrection, and claimed the seven sleepers had in fact been dead the past 200 years. The Seven Sleepers later died, and were buried in the cave in which they had slept. The cave of the Seven Sleepers is located on the eastern slope of Panayirdag hill in Turkey. (See photo above.)

5000 year old hieroglyphs suggests history of Pharaohs
Around 60 drawings engraved in stone and hieroglyphic inscriptions that date back at least 5,000 years have been discovered by archaeologists in Wadi Ameyra in the Sinai desert.
According to archaeologists, they were created by mining expeditions sent there by the first pharaohs of ancient Egypt, revealing numerous previously unknown details of ancient Egyptian history.
One of the inscriptions talks about a queen by the name of Neith-Hotep, co-founder of the First Dynasty who ruled Egypt as regent of the young pharaoh Djer. Researchers estimate that the most ancient engravings are around 5200 years old while the more “recent” inscription approximately 4800 years mention a Pharaoh called Nebra, second pharaoh of the Second Dynasty of Egypt.
The “inscriptions are probably a way to proclaim that the Egyptian state owned the area,” team leader Pierre Tallet, a professor at Université Paris-Sorbonne, told Live Science.

Mystery invaders redrew the map of Europe after last ice age
Mystery invaders conquered hunter-gatherers who had fled south during the last ice age, redrawing the map of Europe around 14,500 years ago, a new study of ancient DNA suggests.
What researchers call the “unknown chapter in human history” began as the ice age closed in and hunter-gatherer populations in Europe began retreating to the south, seeking warmth.
Some groups survived the long winter only to then be wiped out and replaced by another family line, of invaders who moved in as the climate began to warm.
“The descendants of the hunter-gatherers who survived through the Last Glacial Maximum were largely replaced by a population from another source,” says lead author Johannes Krause of the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History in Germany.
While no one is sure where these invaders may have come from, Krause assumes it must be from warmer areas, possibly in southeast Europe.
While the ice age could be expected to cause major population upheavals, “the major post-glacial turnover that was induced by warming events came as a surprise”, co-author Wolfgang Haak, told reporters.
The findings, published in Current Biology, focus on mitochondrial DNA gleaned from ancient bones of 35 hunter-gatherers who lived in Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, the Czech Republic, and Romania.
Mitochondria live within cells, and can provide clues to maternal lineage.

Are they keeping us in the dark about Noah’s Ark?

How It Was Discovered
In 1959, Turkish army captain Llhan Durupinar discovered an unusual shape while examining aerial photographs of his country. The smooth shape, larger than a football field, stood out from the rough and rocky terrain at an altitude of 6,300 feet near the Turkish border with Iran.
Capt. Durupinar was familiar with the biblical accounts of the Ark and its association with Mount Ararat in Turkey, but he was reluctant to jump to any conclusions. The region was very remote, yet it was inhabited with small villages. No previous reports of an object this odd had been made before. So he forwarded the photographic negative to a famous aerial photography expert named Dr. Brandenburger, at Ohio State University.
Brandenburger was responsible for discovering the Cuban missile bases during the Kennedy era from reconnaissance photos, and after carefully studying the photo, he concluded: “I have no doubt at all, that this object is a ship. In my entire career, I have never seen an object like this on a stereo photo.”
In 1960 the picture was published in LIFE magazine under the heading of Noahs Ark? That same year a group of Americans accompanied Capt. Durupinar to the site for a day and a half. They were expecting to find artifacts on the surface or something that would be unquestionably related to a ship of some kind. They did some digging in the area but found nothing conclusive and announced to the anxiously waiting world that it appeared to be a natural formation.
Most of the global media turned away from the find and it became a non-story.

How To Access The Magnificent Field of Universal Intelligence
According to an old Indian legend, there was once a time when all human beings were Gods, but they so abused their divinity that Brahma, the chief God, decided to take it away from them and hide it where it could never be found.
Where to hide their divinity was the question. So Brahma called a council of the Gods to help him decide.
“Let’s bury it deep in the earth,” said the Gods.
But Brahma answered, “No, that will not do because humans will dig into the earth and find it.”
Then the Gods said, “Let’s sink it in the deepest ocean.”
But Brahma said, “No, not there, for they will learn to dive into the ocean and will find it.”
Then the Gods said, “Let’s take it to the top of the highest mountain and hide it there.”
But once again Brahma replied, “No, that will not do either, because they will eventually climb every mountain and once again take up their divinity.”Then the Gods gave up and said, “We do not know where to hide it, because it seems that there is no place on earth or in the sea that human beings will not eventually reach.”
Brahma thought for a long time and then said, “Here is what we will do. We will hide their divinity deep in the center of their own being, for humans will never think to look for it there.”
All the Gods agreed that this was the perfect hiding place, and the deed was done. And since that time humans have been going up and down the earth, digging, diving, climbing, and exploring – searching for something already within themselves.
Some 5,000 years ago, people began to harness the inner stillness of meditation to reconnect with their inner divinity. It’s been part of many ancient practices, from India, Tibet, China, Japan, South America and beyond.
The omniscient Yogi Shiva was a legendary meditator. So was the Buddha. And in more recent times, there are many modern-day spiritual icons and leaders like Paramahansa Yogananda, Deepak Chopra, Gandhi and even Russell Simmons, Steve Jobs and Oprah who use meditation to create extraordinary outcomes.
As for the rest of us? Yes, millions of people today already use this practice to relax, sleep better, focus and even heal. But few understand its fullest power:
Meditation can turn you into a reality-bending superhuman… by tapping you into a Universal field of intelligence and accessing a personal power so potent that you can literally create…anything.
Does that sound a little out there? It won’t when you consider the evidence…
Science tells us that everything in the universe is energy. And that very energy is what makes up your body, the bark of the tree out your window, the smell of the lavender flowers in a field, the screen that is in front of you as you read this, the water that came out of your shower head this morning and every single star in our known universe.
This vast energy comes in different forms and vibrations, and our thoughts are included in this, which is how we can, as Buddha says, make our world. You see, as conscious beings, our conscious minds are always creating, the same way our subconscious mind is always functioning.
Studies show the conscious mind can only handle about 40 bytes of information a second while our subconscious mind is taking in millions of bytes of information every second, to do things like continuing to allow your heart to pump right now and other pretty important body functions.
In Dr. Maxwell Maltz’s book Psycho-Cybernetics, the part of the brain called the Reticular Activation System is mentioned, which is responsible for filtering of the information and choosing which 40 bytes of information make it to your conscience awareness, or to sound Matrix-like, deleting most of the reality around you.
Dr. Maltz describes it as an automatic goal seeking ‘servo-mechanism’: so as long as you give it the right instructions by vividly imagining your ideal outcome in your mind, it will work towards manifesting this outcome to you.

Alcheringa … when the first ancestors were created
This is the story of fifty thousand people coming from the Pleiades in a giant starship to found the human race on Earth.
It is not a simple story, but one filled with intrigue, deception, and the planned destruction of a mission that left only ninety survivors to be cast upon the Earth.
Part of the story was about their survival on a planet whose atmosphere they could barely breathe, a sun they could not expose themselves to, and a dangerous and poisonous environment that took many of the survivor’s lives.
